Ranks and Duties
Valar
Valars are tasked with major responsibilities within the MCME project. These players make an assessment of a project submitted and eventually give the go-ahead for it to be executed. Valars also manage appointing and relieving Staff positions to players. Valars usually also have a very specific responsibility: one is in charge of different aspects in the project such as building, rule enforcing, website, servers, …
Bounder
Bounders are the rule enforcers of the server. These players welcome and make sure the new players have read the rules and try to prevent them from breaking any rules. When such a rule is broken, Bounders can issue measures such as warnings or bans. They have access to an advanced logging tool, that allows them to discover what happened at any place at any given time. Bounders process these logs and take evidence whenever someone is banned to justify the measure. They also are in charge of moderating the forums. Bounders and Valars are the only ranks that can issue an appeal in case that you are banned.
Steward
Stewards make a concept for a project through art and presentation, then they submit their concept to a Valar who then either will give the go-ahead or postpone the execution. Stewards are usually also the only man who is fully in charge of a project, called a Project Manager, if the Valar appointed him to this position. As a Steward you are responsible of constantly trying to higher the bar of quality delivered by coming up with new ideas, and a close follow-up of the progress of a project in progress. Stewards have an outstanding ability to build and possess skills in managing work into smaller tasks. Steward requires that you have at least run for another Staff position such as Artisan or Foreman. Players will be selected for Steward when they have shown excellence through building, planning and managing players during Jobs.
Artisan
Artisans are the creative minds behind the realization of a Project. They work in close collaboration with Architects. They come up with concepts such as how buildings should look, how walls should look, and come up with innovating ideas and at the same time respect the preset architecture for an area that was determined by the Architect. An Artisan should have an incredible sense for design and concept making. They create concepts and different types of designs that the Valar or Steward can chose from, so they can be used during the construction of a project.
Foreman
Foremen are responsible for supervision during Jobs. Jobs are assigned by the Project Manager (see Steward). If it is a Job that everyone is allowed to do, you are the Foreman responsible that everyone is doing well! It is important that you have good communication skills as a Foreman, as you usually leading Thralls and Commoners with directions on how to complete the Job. You are also responsible for the completion and quality of the delivered Job, and guide the group with recommendations and advice.

They have the ability to teleport to players and set the time. They also assist people with their introduction to the server, and are helpful towards new players. They show people around major landmarks in our world, telling stories and lore. They also are there to help people with their questions regarding on how the server works.
