Helm's Deep

Named after Helm Hammerhand, Helm's Deep was actually founded by the people of Gondor in the Second Age. After the War of The Ring, Gimli built a dwarf colony in the Glittering Caves. Gimli was known as the Lord of the Glittering Caves until he and Legolas eventually sailed to the Undying Lands.
