Welcome to the 2025 installment of the MCME Summer Survival!
This year, starting on the 20th of July, it's all about the 4th age and our own spin on the continuation of the legends of Middle-Earth after the events of the War of The Ring.

Gandalf sets the stage for you here:

As you may be able to tell, summer survival is going to be quite different this time around, we have 3 factions one each for Humans, Elves, and Dwarves.

At the beginning of the survival the players will get a choice from 5 Races: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Istar and Hobbits.
The first 3 will all belong to the appropriate faction, whilst the Istar and Hobbits will not belong to any specific faction and have the ability to choose which faction to join or not at all.

There will be numerous custom items, mobs and bosses that can be acquired or found dotted around the world, fighting these will increase your level and gain you resources for your faction. The full documentation here or take a look at the overview below:

  • Orcs infest the depths; enter at your own risk
  • All three factions can access and contest the mines

Lore & Setting

Set after the War of the Ring:
  • The Elves are fading, the Dwarves expanding, and the Humans rebuilding.
  • Though once allies, the need for resources has turned factions against one another.
  • Bandits roam freely, orcs raid settlements, and the Istari and Hobbits try to keep the peace.

Gameplay & Balance

  • No classes – all abilities come from items
  • Items obtained via quests, mobs, and crafting
  • Equipment will feature random modifiers for stat/ability variation
  • Combat is balanced around level parity and fair encounters

Persistent Worldbuilding
