I think @Eriol_Eandur that these lanterns, don't really look like lanterns, they look to modern or maybe too boxy. I do have ideas though, I saw these a little while ago and you mabye this would work:

As I wrote it's just a texture I found. I like the latern with candle inside idea very much. If you have textures (make sure they are from other packs) post them in the Gondor texture thread.
