    What source does state that they disappear? What is known / can be assumpted: Elves leave for Valinor mostly, Dwarves maybe some time get too few to keep reproducing, same for orcs. Latter two are only assumptions and it may aswell be that those races keep exisiting.

    You can help build when a designer starts a job, or when there is a freebuild on the plotworld (which there are currently none of, if I'm not mistaken). Jobs just pop up when a designer has something that they need help with.
