Tombs of the Kings, I started this a little while ago and thought I'd finish it for this occasion.

I do have some other themed builds, those are ones I'm not proud of though so I don't think I should show them.

Your interests:

I'd love to work on Dol Amroth-styled builds, I think the new textures of that city are just amazing for building new things.
I am also excited to work on Moria, but I must say I don't build dwarven that often (like never).


Your motivation:
I fell back in love of this server by making screenshots of it, now I think it's time I make some material to make screenshots of.

Thank you for your application! It has now been checked and here follow some tips on what you can improve on to increase your chances on a promotion to Artist.

The main thing you need to imrpove on is details. On one hand this applies to the exterior of your houses, especially the house you built in the Fords of Isen TB would look much better and interesting if it had some more depth. Check out some Rohan houses how they used stairs and fences to achieve that. On the Dol Amroth plot you experimented with some breaking up of the monotonous walls and adding depth, but still some more can be done there, you also will find tons of ideas throughout Gondor.
Secondly on the interior: On many shots you can see that the rooms are often pretty empty still. Walk around our map and get inspired by the tons of possibilities of how to furnish a house!
For further feedback please ask an Artist or Designer ingame or submit some more builds to your app.

Also please note that the criterions and the way artist apps are handled in the future are about to change. Further information will be published soon on the forums.

BIG UPDATE
-Tescha
a big medievall city including a castle a palace a lot of houses and a big catedral it was a team effort but I did the planning of the city, builded of a lot of the houses, builded the palace, planned / helped with the castle and I did all the walls

I guess I don't need to tell you that Tescha does look absolutely stunning, it is in fact very well comparable to cities we construct on MCME. If you are able to construct houses like that you've got pretty much all it takes from the skills aspect what it needs to be a successful MCME Artist. What you know have to prove yet is your activity and your social skills, meaning being able to understand and follow the instructions you will get, so in the next few weeks you should stay as active on the server as possible and you soon may see yourself stray around with a purple. If you participate in a job or another occasion for building be sure to remind the leading staff to note your work down so that especially I can keep track of what you're doing.
