You could put Morgoth/Melkor at Angband if you wanted to include them

Maybe a big ol' crater waaaaay up north where Utumno used to be, but I doubt anyone would be hanging around there.

Maybe you should have Eowyn in Edoras, Eomer in the Westfold, Dain in Erebor (once we have it), and Bard's descendent who is king of Dale in Dale.

I know it sounds like i'm just making another excuse to get seperate ranks back for commoner and thrall, but won't it kinda break the fun if you can just fly? it makes it so much worse.

I can stop players from flying. The loot would be custom made so that it is non duplicatable aswell.

    1. Morgomir isn't in the books I think
    2. Balin is dead by T.A. 3001, we even have his tomb.
    3. The Eye of Sauron above Barad-dûr isn't in the lore either

Yeah, Sauron had a palantir, didn't he? Or am I screwing up my lore? (Wow, I really need to reread LotR and all of that stuff...)

Yeah, I know what he was talking about, I was just continuing on the "lore inaccurate" thing. But, you know, the eye does look pretty cool.

True, although I think Tolkien would have described a huge floating eye if he had wanted to.....

This was in the LOTR Wiki.

"In Tolkien's novels, the Eye of Sauron (as a giant flaming eyeball), was not Sauron's shape. Sauron has or had a physical, man-like form."

This seems to say either the movies' story of him manifesting the form of it after his defeat or it being one of his crafts of evil. The wiki page is here. http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Eye_of_Sauron

still, don't they both describe an eye, lidless and wreathed with flame?

True, you can really interpret it both ways. However, when Frodo and Sam were in Mordor, they saw Barad-dur as many towers and a shade of blackness. They did see the "Eye" at one time, so that could be it. However, I think it was inside one of the windows of the fortress. So PJ might be right, he just put the Eye in the wrong place.
