ThemedBuilds run weekly, starting around Saturday 9PDT/17GMT.
'Shelob's Lair'
Reference: Tolkien Gateway
Texturepack: See below
'Main' ThemedBuilds are used in applications for the Artist rank.

As shelob's lair is in an area that does not have it's own texturepack yet you are free to choose which MCME pack you want to use for this build. However, if you want to be really cool you can develop some textures you think would be good for the area (webbie stuff, dead stuff etc.) and incorporate them into your build, or collabarate with a texture person.
Who knows if you have some good ideas they could one day find their way into the mordor resourcepack
. One doesn't simply texture into Mordor.

Vote for next week's ThemedBuild in the poll above this post. If a topic remains unchosen four consecutive times it will be replaced with another option.

By participating in a ThemedBuild you agree to abide by the following guidelines.

  • You can find the lots at the freebuild server, at /warp theme.
  • Claim a free lot by typing /theme.
  • People who have reserved a lot but not built in it in the first 2 hours may have their claim removed by staff members, and staff members only.
  • Any lots that do not follow the guidelines will be removed without warning.
  • Staff will not help you with terraforming, copy-pasting, flipping or moving your ThemedBuilds. They can however move your ThemedBuild to a different world if the time has run out.
  • You'll need screenshots of at least one themed build as part of an Artist application.
  • All builds submitted in your application must be entirely your own work, and must have been completed during the allotted time.
  • Screenshots should be taken using the resourcepack defined at the top of this post.
  • Take at least one screenshot of your build with your lot-sign clearly visible.

Can you use Default instead of an MCME pack because they all convert cobwebs to rope or chain, therefore giving you no webs for use on the lair of the child of Ungoliant.
