I'm too lazy to copy the actual specs over, so you can just view them (and a few pictures at the bottom) over here: http://fortesp.com/specs.html

First hand built computer, which was a ton of fun to actually build - much more gratifying then buying a crappy pre-built HP or Dell. Only planned upgrade is possibly a new GPU at Star Citizen's release and adding in another 8GB of RAM.

Total cost was around $520~ for the case and internal parts. All the peripherals were bought over the course of two years and I'm too lazy to find how much they all cost.

It's not quite built yet but I'm getting it done by Wednesday...

CPU: AMD FX-8350
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz
GPU: Amd HD 7870
Storage: 1x 1tb HDD, 1x 320GB HDD,
Case: Aerocool Strike-X GT Devil Mid-Tower Gaming Case

What I want to add/change: Pretty much everything but the case, the HDD's, the Disk drive will be replaced eventually. My old motherboard fucked itself so I'm using this until the end of the year. Hoping to get a 4tb hard drive and a ssd for my os. I also want to get a GTX 780ti but they cost about £500 so idk.

Operating System: Windows 8.1 (don't question it, i know...)
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770
Cooling: Stock cooler
RAM: 8GB DDR3
Motherboard:
MSI H87-G43 Gaming
Graphics: MSI Twin Frozer Gaming Nvidia Geforce GTX 760
Storage: Adata 256GB SSD (1x) & Western Digital 2GB HDD (1x)
Case: Zalman Z11 Plus HF1 Midi Tower Case
PSU: Cooler Master G550M Power Suply
Other: Mouse - Roccat Pyra (still got it from my laptop)
Keyboard - Roccat Isku
want to add/change: Probably going to get another mouse and new headset (I gues bot Roccat :D )
notes: Never get you part by Alternate: they realy tried to rip me of. When i build my pc it didn't boot because it needed a biosflash, so we went to Alternade and they told it didn't boot because I destroyed the motherboard by pushing to hard on the CPU or something..., they told me that i probably just needed to buy another motherbord (of €114). So we went to a complete other store, asked for an bios flash and they just did it, they didn't even bother that i bought the parts somewhere else, and everything worked just fine!

No need for 32GB of RAM unless you're doing rendering or working with large graphics/media files, other than that there's no reason to go above 16 (no game needs that much).
Moar = Better #Logic
(i got it on a very good deal)
