    Opening statement

Hey don't waste any time reading this opening statement, quickly move on reading the awesome breaking news!
    Whats Up?

Breaking News: A new Bag End!

@kisos, @_Luk and some other Designers have been giving a new Bag End a try, they have now concluded their work by checking on some lore-compatibility and have copied their work to the main map now. Check it out in the screens below or right ingame!

    Project Progress

Andrast (In Progress) - Lead: @jacenpeter

Detailing of the mountains around the lakes in Andrast has continued (such as adding grass, snow and erosion) as well as shaping of the mountains around the fjords. Was a bit busy the past two weeks and will continue to be busy for the next couple weeks so if any staff are interested in joining Andrast to do mass amounts of terraforming hit me up and I got a mountain voxel guide on its way for those interested!

Anfalas (In Progress) - Lead: @kisos

The quick and awesome work continues this week, as a whole village gets done, check it out at /warp Aelhroth. A resource pack update is needed, but you can imagine how awesome it looks. @Kjolsen , @WalpoleLegoMen and others are working on farms. @jackg420 has made some amazing taverns along the road. I also have been working very hard on the terrain in the north and @Wroxxite is working on his village. There is also a swamp that has been done on the new terrain that the incredible @Darki190 dug almost single handed in two nights. More great things to come in the next weeks.
    - kisos
Belfalas (In Progress) - Lead: @Thijs1801

From planning to completion went the town of Rimaer this week! Additionally another town further up towards the hills has been laid out, going by the name of Steelmoar.
    Fornost Reruin (In Progress) - Lead: @Fireinferno13 & @Demonataz

Thanks to the hard work of @Wraith_Knight and company, I think it is fair to declare the re-ruining of Fornost as DONE. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the extensive ruining of this project, as this turned out to be a much larger scale than any of us originally expected.

That being said, there is still work to be done on the surrounding terrain and forests as led by @Demonataz , so this project is not 100% complete but will hopefully wrap up soon.
    - Fireinferno13
Lamedon (In Progress) - Lead: @Eriol_Eandur

Eriol got rid of another patch of sand on the dynmap: He worked on and finished the streams around Calembel.
Misty Mountains (In Progress) - Lead: @Emilio_ (Eregion), @Finrod_Amandil (Misties), @Mandos (Gladden Fields)

Its the small changes that take the longest! I have been smoothing out the terrain I had voxelled the week before.
Tolfalas (In Progress) - Lead: @Tyranystrasz

Beside WorldPainter (which we used to create the basis of the current Middle-earth map) there's another world generation program with the name of WorldMachine. Tyran has launched up this very powerful but also very complex program this week to create a concept for the terrain of Tolfalas. Check the image above for said concept!
[Public Project] Fennas Drúnin (In Progress) - Lead: @thomasd16

The Artists have formed a very well working team to lay out the keep of Fennas Drúnin, within a short time they shared a lot of ideas and came up with a really nice concept. Beside that more and more houses are being erected and continually all gaps on the peninsula are being closed.

    Plugin Development

    No changes this week.

    Resource Packs
Mordor Pack (In Progress) - Lead: @bender400

Work continues. I am at the moment transferring useful models made by our grand texturer @Despot666 for Moria Pack into the Mordor Pack, such as slants and detail panes. @jacenpeter has made a beautiful (or hideous, depending on your outlook) Cirith Ungol watcher head texture:

Be sure to see more texture samples next week!

    Audiobook review

My head still vibrates from the deep and sonate Treebeard voice we listened to for over an hour last saturday. The chapter was very interesting, but the slow pace of speech made it a bit lengthy...

As always, dear Wraith_Knight delighted us with some nice screenshots :D

    Upcoming

    Themed Build

Theme: Formenos - 2 weeks left!
    Resource Pack: Gondor
Thread: #12/16 - [Project Build] Formenos
    Scheduled Events
    Audiobook session 12

For long we have followed the traces of Merry and Pippin last week, now it's about time to get to know the Faith of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli.
As usual the Audiobook will take place on Saturday, 19:00 BST, as long as no other information is communicated.
    Jobs & Plotbuilds

Jobs for next Saturday will be announced in this thread over the course of the week. Be sure to ask Designers for jobs at any time, maybe they can offer something!
    Closing statement

Lately I heard there's people in Switzerland that are still skiing...

Like to have some funny things in this spot or should I go back to looking up sophisticated quotes?
