    Editor's Note by BWOT

    A lot of changes have occurred in the last two weeks... One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the hard work of the Times team! Thank you everyone who worked on this edition: @Arkengard , @Eriol_Eandur , @Finrod_Amandil, @Smaug_Niphredil , @superlolster. I would like to welcome @superlolster to the team as an editor and photographer. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Team yourself, please message me (BWOT) on discord. Also, thank you to our other photographer @Pants_of_Sindar who did an amazing job with the screenshots you see in this edition! With the added help of Super, we have an additional two sections this week.... Keep your eyes peeled!

    Head Designer’s Note by BWOT

    Thank you all for the support which you have given me so far. I will try to do my best as Head Designer. The reason there are now two Head Designers is due to that Finrod has been overwhelmed so after talking it through with first the admins and then the staff team we decided that the admins should select a new Head Designer. I am humbled that they picked me. I will not go into why I was picked over others but I will give a brief description of what I will be doing: Firstly I will be looking at the current project supervision, reorganizing this and hopefully improving builds in realism and lore. I will be writing a message to the whole community soon to how I plan to do this. I will also be working or leading some projects as I am still a designer so for the people wondering if I will still be giving jobs to artist or building then the answer is yes. I will be working with Finrod on reviewing applications for Foreman and Designer and then also with the committee for Artist. Now you are probably wondering what Finrod is going to do as he too is a Head Designer. Finrod will be working with the development groups: textures, programmers, animators and the rest of the developers. However, there will be of course some crossovers here and there. If you have any more questions feel free to message me. Thank you for reading this message and hope you enjoy the rest of the Times!

    Belfalas - Lead: @Darki | In Progress

    I’m still working on the steeper hills in northern Belfalas, but this is more work and will take some more time.

    Planning for the Belfalas vegetation revamp is going on. We will have many more fields to feed the large population of Belfalas, open grasslands where shepherds feed sheeps and intensely managed forests for shipbuilding wood.

    Gem Town is officially finished! Thank you for all those Artist + who worked there. I think Kjol deserves a good long break after he does that bathhouse in Royal Town. This means that Royal Town has (officially of course) started. There is a build day for Artist +, more info on that further in the Times. The sewers progress has still been halted however. Work on the palace interior and exterior has been going on with Eriol.

    Wow what can I say… so much work has been done it will be hard to fit it all in one paragraph. The halls surrounding the Central Dwelling are almost complete. Thanks to all the artist who work there. The forge led by Patrick is also making great speed in completing this might cave. The halls around that done by the Artists look absolutely amazing. With Jesia in the crop growing areas; planning is almost done for on of the caves which means some work on it very soon. The halls surrounding that also are stunning. I (BWOT) am glad to announce that the Central Dwelling will also be starting soon. There will be a big Build Day revolving that so keep your eyes peeled. Right now though it is in the planning stage and will be led by @BWOT, @Patrick and @Jesia. Also @FireInferno’s hall has been seeing some progress.

    ~ Texture Development ~
    Report by BWOT

    @Finrod_Amandil as Head Developer is working closely with the texturing team: @Eriol_Eandur , @RubenPieterMark, @Merlinc01, @windsong and @ryttyr. They have been doing a phenomenal job. Progress on this side of MCME and behind the scenes is staggering. Good work to all of you on the many textures you have already made. We are seeing dev.packs being made for almost all resource packs so expect big things in the near future or as we like to put it “soon”.

    @BWOT You said in the Dol Amroth section that Gate Town is finished instead of Gem Town.
