New Book: The Fall of Gondolin

Good news everyone.
Christopher Tolkien is publishing another book: The Fall of Gondolin.

"The Fall of Gondolin, the last of the 'Great Tales' of the Elder Days, will finally be published on August 30th."

"Completing the ‘trilogy’ of Middle-earth tales – begun with The Children of Húrin in 2007 and Beren and Lúthien following in 2017 – this new volume will include drawings and colour plates by Alan Lee."

Christopher said in the preface to Beren and Luthien that it was "presumably his last", and that was published less than a year ago. The fact that this is being published is in itself rather odd, but most likely the final publication he will be associated with.

However, under the new regime, and considering the Tolkien Estates newfound eagerness to whore themselves out, it may not be the last book associated with Tolkien and his estate.
