I don't use any shaders because my computer would probably explode.

at least turn them off when they are going through mountains

I kind of like the clouds, it's Minecraft after all, they are supposed to be square.
Helm's Deep shot really would be better off without them though.

You can also use /ptime to get some nice shadows, or get the sun in your shots
