I think that artists, as a majority of the build team on the server, should receive the basic CoreProtect permissions that were granted to Foreman a little over two years ago.
I believe this because of the growing number of artists taking on Project Staff, Co-Lead or even informal positions of leadership/authority within active projects, and having these permissions makes it much easier to know what changes inside the project were made by who, when they were made and whether you as a project staff have the authority to change it.
I have heard this suggested from other artists as well, and I cannot see any reason not to grant these permissions, as artists are already trusted enough to have unrestricted build perms in most worlds, WorldEdit and in some cases even VoxelSniper or Axiom.
