What makes a great Guide according to you?
A great Guide is an individual who has an intimate understanding of the server and the community. For a guide to prepare new players for their exploration of the server, the Guide himself must understand the server, otherwise, a Guide is pointless. A guide should be able to aid players quickly and effectively whenever help is needed. If a guide doesn't know the server by heart and is forced to make players wait so he can retrieve the information they asked for, then their position is also pointless, a player could find this information themselves. I believe that an in-depth understanding of LoTR, The Hobbit, and the maps of Middle-Earth are important aspects of a Guide as well. Without this in-depth understanding, a Guide would be unable to aid new players in exploring the MCME recreation of this world. Furthermore, a Guide should be an individual that's able to remain calm and collected in all situations. They should be able to handle "stupid" questions in a mature manner. Overall, a Guide should be a calm, friendly, cooperative, and fun individual that loves to work with MCME and its community.
