️ Server Maintenance & Update to 26.2
Hello everyone,
Minecraft Middle-earth is currently undergoing a major maintenance and update to Minecraft 26.2. This is a larger job than usual: besides the version update itself, we're updating plugins, testing compatibility, and making sure everything is stable before we reopen.
This thread will be kept up to date throughout the process, and once the update is complete it will contain the full changelog.
Current Status
Server: Offline – maintenance in progress
What does this mean for you?- The Minecraft server is offline for the duration of the maintenance.
- The website, forums, and Discord remain available as usual.
- Your builds and progress are safe; full backups were made before work began.
- The maintenance may take multiple days. We'd rather do this properly than rush it and deal with broken builds or plugins afterward.
Progress Log

- Maintenance started, server taken offline.
- Backups completed.
- Updated the plugins to 26.2 - running tests across the network and worlds.
Further updates will be added here as work progresses.
