Resolved mod the lord of the rings 1.8.8

We do not use the LOTR mod. you simply need a minecraft 1.8 to 1.8.9 version then log onto build.mcmiddleearth.com

You will need to allow resource packs to get new textures. This appears when you join for the first time, or can be changed from editing the server on your server list. This is not compulsory but gives MCME a better look from the 'boring' normal consistent minecraft textures.

We do use our own custom resourcepacks on the server. If you want to see this at its best, try visiting Lothlorien with and without texturepack. It turns from candyland into the golden forest it is supposed to be.
