Over the last couple of weeks, I have received multiple questions regarding some minor chances implemented within the Themebuild poll. So I decided that an update post might be useful to clear up some confusion.

Previously themebuild voting system would be around the lines of this: When a vote was not picked for 3 weeks it will show up in the poll with a message [last time in poll],

But over the last couple months I have experimented with better ways of implementing a more fair voting system were fun themes are not overshadowed by hyped once.
So how do I envision the new voting system?

First of all instead of now only having 1 vote, u can vote for as many options as u want. This means that u can vote for all the themebuilds that u would like to do, and not only your favourite.
Ofcourse it will still be the theme with the most votes that will be next weeks theme.
Secondly, how do I decide when to remove a vote from the poll? Every week I will look at the amount of votes each option got, and based on this I will make a calculation decision whether or not a vote gets to remain till next weeks vote. Another reason a option may be removed is do to the lack of difference between it and another vote. For example: if 2 options would be extremely similar in style.

As a side node I might experiment with now having more then 3 options available too choice from, depending on the variety of the poll.

Finally, I will also start collecting a textdocument with themebuilds ideas sorted into tags. I can then decide what kind of tags I want and based on that use a randomizer to decide what to add to the poll.
These tags will be something around the lines of:

Region: [Gondor][Belfalas][Anorien][Rohan][Dwarven]..
Discription: [Organic][City][Structure]..
Type: [Concept][Project][FFA]..

Expect more information on this soon!
