Hi,

I don't really know how to write this so I'm gonna try to be as honest with you as possible. That is hard for me so please grizzly bear with me.

Mcme has been a big part of my life the last couple of years. I have met some wonderful people on here. Made some great friends and I learned so much. I have so many precious memory's of these last couple years that I don't think I will ever forget. The community made this place great. Mcme was my place to escape my sometimes difficult life.
When I became valar I knew that I wanted to change Mcme to become even better. More friendly more open just more. I worked hard for that ideal Mcme. But then I learned that not everyone had the same ideal's that I had. That's where the struggle began. It became difficult but I cared to much for this community to just give up. That took its toll however.
After 3 years of having all these responsibility's and struggles it became to much. Mcme slowly became the place I wanted to escape from. When I realized that. I had to make a decision, one that I have been avoiding for to long. I will be stepping down from the Head Designer rank.

But I would not have done this if I did not find someone more capable to take over my role as Head Designer. More capable more lore just more. This person is Finrod_Amandil. He will become the new Head Designer.
For those of you who know him, I don't think much explanation is needed why. For those of you who don't, take it from me he is just more.
There is one thing I would like to ask everyone of you take into consideration how difficult it can be to lead something as amazing as Mcme. With your support it will be that much easier for him. So please support him. Be there for him when he needs it most. I know I will.

Speaking about that I will remain Head Designer for a short amount of time to help Finrod adjust to his new colors.
After that I am not quite sure what I will do. I haven't thought it trough that much. But I can assure you I will always care for this community and I will be around as I would miss you all to much if I wasn't.

-Credoo

We'll miss you, crederp:( I have loved being a designer under your lead, and I'll look back on it with fond memories. Please stay around as artist or something though; MCME without Credoo wouldn't be MCME;)

To be honest, when I saw that Fin will be the new Head Designer, I was kind of surprised. With a little thought, though, it seems apparent that you couldn't have picked someone better:)

Adios Amigo!

I just want to say thank you for your time as staff on MCME. You have always been the one guy I've looked up to and looked to for guidance, you taught me how to build from the very beginning.
I will never forget the times I helped you and Oronwe on all those Rohan villages as a Member, I will never forget everything we've done together.
If it wasnt for you I wouldn't have been a staff member right now, I would never have stuck around to learn more about building and how the server worked, I would never have done all the stuff I've done, all thanks to you.

On a second note, I would like to say congratulations to @Finrod_Amandil and I hope you will be just as good as @Credoo was, if not better at some point.

At last I have a small announcement to make, seems like a good time to do this right now.
With the new age of mcme approaching and with Credoos resignation I would like to announce my resignation aswell.
I have struggled with lack of motivation for a long time and it does not seem to come back like it usually does.

I used to love playing on here, spending 10-15 hours a day almost every day of the week, but now I just feel like my tasks as a Designer and staffmember are burdens and chores that I just have to do,
not because I like it or want to, but I need to.
I do not get that special feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project or come up with some cool new terrain. I just feel ''alright, onto the next thing then''.
It has now been 3 years since I first got staff and I've had alot of fun, and I've done alot of projects during that time. I now feel like my time is over and that someone else should be able to have that feeling I had.

Woooddd, not you too D:

I am going to miss both of you immensely. Credo I will always remember the time you promoted me, and your overall kindness and help in helping in this community. I always believed that you desicions were the best for the community. I believe Finrod will also do this but there is always that first. You were my first head designer. And I will cherish our time together. Also to Wod. You might not remember this but you were one of the first Designers to help me on FB. You gave me some terrain to build Erebor. And you two had an amazing farewell gift, #Pelargir

Thank you credoo for your service, and it will have been a privilege being able to call myself designer even for the short time you shall stay with us.

Congratulations finrod, I think that mcme will do well under you.

Credoo and Wod,

I have known you both for many years now, and have come to respect and appreciate the people you are. This community would not be what it is without the dedication and direction brought to it by you. While I don't want to undermine the contributions of others, which are still influencing us for the better, I wish to highlight both of you for you actions.

In my time on MCME, I've had the privledge and honor to work with and amongst you in various roles and positions. You have helped me, and taught me skills which extend on and beyond the server. I thank you both for all that you have accomplished, and the friendships that were forged. I know that you will still exemplify and be the examples for other players to strive for, even when you're just stopping by for a visit.

With much love and gratitude,
-speedy

Credoo ever since the day I found you alone in a gutter in some far off village in Rohan I knew you had potential and would change MCME for the better. You've been a great friend and an amazing builder... once you got past your super pointy Rohan buildings :D. Don't think about it as stepping down from MCME, think about it as now having the opportunity to help the community grow and passing the torch to a new generation who will continue to innovate and follow in your footsteps. You now have a greater responsibility, your not in charge of the project anymore, your in charge of join the old guard and motivating the future droogs, members, foreman, queens, kings, whatever rank they are to because Credoo status.

Just be careful buddy, after you stop being staff tales will be told of your adventures. Many grand stories about building cities and fighting for the people you love most, but some will spread false tales. False tales about river digs and droogs dieing pff never proven no evidence made sure to dispose of it with a few well timed bribe.... never mind we don't talk about things that didn't happen.

But yes, Finrods journey begins now and thank goodness, have some tobacco, Credoo :D haha little reference there.... Fin, your going to do a great job. You now have a challenge, make MCME better. Your predecessors have done a great job improving in the previous's footsteps. Now its your turn. Make me proud <3

Wod,

When I have the opportunity to write heartfelt stuff about people who have really influence the community I do. I want you to know I took a long time writing this and it really comes from my core, telling you how much of a great guy you are and an awesome influence to the community. here goes I hope you enjoy and maybe some tiers :D

Cre I still remember when you were first promoted to Valar along with Bevs, and I can't even imagine how much stress and pressure you've been under having to fill the shoes of Homie and the other former Valar. But you managed to. You grew as a leader. Whether it was the creation of the new map or leading jobs and projects, you did well. I knew we never saw eye to eye when it came to lore accuracy for the server, but that led to good conversations and massive discussions in which you stood your ground, but were still willing to compromise. I cannot help but respect you for that. Even after I became less active, I would still come on and see how dedicated you were and driven to make middle earth. All I can say is job well done, and whether you decide to stay or leave, you'll be remembered as one of the greats who took MCME to the next level.

Just Keep Swimming

After all these years you are still telling me what to do :D that's what I love about you man.
I wont forget that day you remembered me, the unknown droog I was back then, when I was digging a river after being inactive for a couple weeks. You put me to build stuff and got me known. I dare to say that I don't think I would have stayed if I was not dragged into the community by you.

I don't even feel right to post among all you beautiful, helpful people (and speeder). I've only recently passed my first MCME cakeday, so I don't match up with the bond that these others have formed with both of you resigners. I was one of the youngest to know of the valar, but not of the times before. I always enjoyed any update that showed off the wonderful work the two of you did, reserving a glimmer of hope in my eye that I could be a fraction of these high ranking officials with a passion for a humble fantasy saga.

We all know you picked well when it came to your replacement, though I don't want poor Fin to juggle too big a piece of the server with all the great things he does. It doesn't matter how regular and predictable these events happen, it still doesn't feel real. New members come and go, but it's the ones like you that make an impact we won't forget. I'll have to get used to whatever color you decide to paint your scales if I myself return for any considerable amount of time.
