Common Sense
  1. Common Sense
    While this list covers a large portion of what we'd like to uphold, it can't account for everything.
    We ask that you use common sense while you're here; just because there's no rule explicitly prohibiting it may not mean it's okay.
    If you're unsure of any of these rules, ask a Moderator.

    Please use common sense and treat others as you want to be treated

  2. Moderator Discretion
    Moderators are expected to use discretion to enforce these rules and keep our community a friendly and peaceful place for everyone.
    If you think you have been mistreated or unfairly punished by a Moderator, you should make an appeal here on our forum.
Account
  1. No Inappropriate Avatar, Name or Skin
    Having an avatar, name, or skin that are considered inappropriate or offensive.
  2. No Evading Punishment
    Avoiding a punishment (ban, mute, etc.), especially by use of an alternate account, is not allowed.
  3. No Impersonation
    Trying to pretend to be someone you are not, especially a member or representative of MCME.
Behaviour and Communication
  1. No Advertising
    Advertising, luring, or recruiting people to other communities or media such as a Discord, Minecraft server, social account, YouTube channel, etc.
  2. No Spamming
    Flooding or spamming the forums, or the text and voice chats of the Discord and server.
  3. No Bullying, Discrimination or Harassment
    Coercion, harm, or intimidation of others. Discrimination towards groups or individuals (such as culture, race, religion, sex, etc.). Continued, unwanted behavior towards others after being told to stop.
  4. No Doxxing
    No sharing of personal information of someone else without their explicit consent.
  5. No Malicious Threats
    Coercing or threatening someone with DDoSing, death, doxxing, hacking, etc.
  6. No Inappropriate Behaviour
    Discussing or engaging in inappropriate / NSFW activity, content, or topics.
  7. No Political or Religious Discussions
    Discussing religion or politics.
In-Game
  1. No Copying or Downloading Builds
    No copying, downloading, or permanently storing any part of the server worlds. For the players' builds, such as those in freebuild, consent is needed.
  2. No Abusing or Exploiting Bugs & Features
    Abusing bugs or features that could be detrimental to the server or the players. Non-limited examples:
    • Creating items with excessive NBT data
    • Creating lag machines
    • Exiting the world border
    • Importing blocked items
    • Using exploits or bugs in plugins
  3. No Griefing or Inappropriate Building
    Attempting to create inappropriate builds or destroy other builds. Creating builds in an area that is off-limits.
  4. No Usage of 3rd Party Mods or Hacks
    Using clients that can cause performance loss or give you unfair advantage, such as:
    • Fly mods
    • Hacks to gain advantage during PvP
    • Nuke mods
    • NBT spawning
    Harmless client-side mods such as a minimap, OptiFine, or shaders are acceptable.
