In Progress Baj02324's guide application

Do you meet the minimum requirements to apply? yes

Why would you like to become a Guide?
What kept me hooked the most, was the community. I connected with people really fast, and felt like a strong sense of community for the entirety of my rather short time on MCME. I want to give this feeling to the other new players, who maybe just joined to see their favourite LOTR location, but stay on the server and engage with the community, maybe getting inspired to become a guide too. I imagine hosting minigames would also be pretty fun, keeping people entertained who maybe dont find the greatest fun in building or exploring, but still want to play on the server.
I love helping people and already try to bring in my help wherever I can, although I don´t have knowledge about everything, I help where I can and try to improve on topics im not the most informed in.

What experience have you had on MCME?
Just like I said above, I really liked the community, keeping me hooked from early on. When I joined I was fairly shy, asking only the most necesarry questions, and not really talking much, but after a while I felt better, becoming a very active member of the server. I really like building, I built some things in freebuild and i´ve done a few landscaping jobs. I got commoner pretty fast, having a goal to work towards by beeing active helped me and probably also others with engaging with people.
I also always had fun playing minigames, PvP, or partaking in tours (although I was mostly late and only got half of the tours).
I have no problem with being in voicechat and talking to people, and already gathered a fair amount of time in voicechat.

Is there anything else you would like to say in support of your application?
I´m German and fluent in both german and english and can therefore answer questions in both languages. If there would be a special request by someone who isn´t good at english, or just people who are better at speaking/understanding german, I would be free to hold minigames or tours in german, or just translate stuff.

Update
After being granted the Minigames badge, i've held every Minigame at least once, except for Geoguessr. I tried to be active and hold Minigames, but unfortunately I had some major tech problems which crashed my game a lot, however i found a fix. I informed myself a bit more about the server lore and general info on the server and lotr. Unfortunately I was not able to take screenshots of the Minigames, partially because i crashed before the game ended and partially because i kinda forgot.

Hey Baj, thank you for the application!

The Guides have discussed the app and we have decided you will not be moving forward with your application quite yet. We would like you to be on the server for a little longer to build your experience and knowledge of how the server works. However, you have shown great enthusiasm for both the server and this rank, and because of this, you will be given the minigames badge in game to use and show your capabilities. You can view the commands for the badge here: https://www.mcmiddleearth.com/community/resources/minigames-manual.94/

After 2 weeks from today (June 26th), you will be able to reapply for the rank. If you have any questions about this or about how to use the minigames badge, please let me know.

Hey Baj, thanks for being patient as we discussed your application!

The Guides have decided to let you go through a trial period, in which you will be expected to meet each of the requirements to become a Guide through running a variety of activities, helping community members with their questions, and creating a positive atmosphere around the server. The details of these requirements as well as some resources for you to use in your trial period will be given to you by your mentor, @Greetly

Your application will last a maximum of 2 months, at the end of which you’ll be asked to run your trial activity. Please update this application thread with a new post whenever you run something for your applications (screenshots of the activities are not required for these but are recommended!). If you have any questions about the process or in general, feel free to direct them to myself or Greetly. Best of luck on your application!

In the last few days i've only held a few minigames, because when I was free to hold them, there were always only few or no people who wanted minigames, but i've held two lore quizzes
