Introduction
Hi, I've been out of the project leading game for a while, so I decided to lock in on Fangorn. I have been interested in redoing Fangorn for some time since we finished the Wold as the next step of the Aragorn path and merry and pippin path. All things considered Fangorn forest is a pretty large and crucial part of the second film and I don't think our current one is a good representation of what we are capable of these days. I have held off fully committing to this project for some time because I was hoping to get some world machine assistance with the southern misties before beginning this. As this is now becoming ever more unlikely I just decided screw it we ball, so here we go. The most annoying part of this project will be creating the grids of massive trees necessary for Fangorn of course. Over the last several months I have slowly been building my collection of these trees and now have nine as of the writing of this post. Each tree takes a day and a half to make for me so this grid is quite an investment of time, and I hope by making this post I can convince others to help. Once I have an adequate grid I might feel comfortable starting the actual project. The forest will have a very different feeling than the current forest update forests we have already and I want to give it a sense of agedness and hugeness. This will mostly be achieved by the thick trunked old growth oaks. In any case, maybe you will find this post interesting and care to help me with this grid so that I can get an actual project running sometime.:

We have such a cool system for trees and such potential for making cool looking ents I am excited to see what people come up with.
