Hiatus

O Hai!

In case any of you noticed my absence this year* (you know... 2014), I just wanted to check in and let you know I am, in fact, still alive.

Lots of life™ has been happening around these parts recently that has diverted my focus and energies away from MCME (tends to happen when you have kids, and a mortgage, and taxes, and all that other stuff that requires responsibility). Hopefully this is temporary as I quite enjoy being among such excellent and admirable hobbits, and as such I'm simply letting you know - officially - that I'm on an unofficial hiatus.

I'll be around when I can. For those of you who had tasked me with texture projects, I'm sorry to say that I can't deliver at the moment. My sincerest apologies for that, @Credoo and everyone else that I had lined up. I hope I didn't cause any delays. And it's a double-whammy that a) I've failed to follow-through on my promises, and b) it's stuff that I really enjoy doing. So, again, I'm very sorry. Consider me off of those projects.

If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that the needs and people immediately around me always take priority. If something is going to be sacrificed, it sure as hell ain't gonna be my wife or my kids.

So... this isn't goodbye. It's just "see ya 'round."

But seriously, kudos on this, and I applaud you. As awesome as MCME is, family comes first and foremost (as far as I'm concerned). This community will still be around when you want to pop in and say hi, so never fear! Good luck with Life™.
