What makes a great Guide according to you?
In my mind, a good Guide is someone who cares about the first
impressions and overall experience of new people, and is willing to
help them out at any point with problems that they might encounter, or
point them to someone who can help if the Guide is unable to help. A Guide
must ideally be very passionate about Tolkein's work and knowledged in a
good amount of the lore. A Guide should also be a fun-loving person who is
able to kick back into low gear and have a good time while still keeping an
eye out for potential problems. Lastly and most importantly, I think that a
Guide should indubidably have a kind and caring personality, one that has a
lasting impression on new players. I remember when I first joined how extremely
nice and helpful @Gary_Baggins was, and I want to be able to do that for others.
