Lore Hour Winter Special 2021!

You've been waiting a whole season, and here it is!

This years winter special we will be hosting an open-forum style event where we will discuss the frequently asked, weird and wonderful lore questions that members of MCME have.

This is your chance to get any burning questions answered, or perhaps to just stir the pot by asking something deliberately contentious!
We need you to submit your questions before the event by posting them below. They just need to relate to some aspect of Tolkien's Legendarium.

So if you're curious about balrogs having horns or not, whether Minas Morgul is a city or not, or have some "what-if..." scenarios that you think will test the lore nerds to the limit, then get posting below!

Well, I do have some "What If" Questions and they are:
1) What if Gandalf never resurected after dying to the balrog or became evil like saruman?
2) What if Aragorn was killed during the journey like at Amon hen and what would be the consequences
