• Welcome to MCME!

Minecraft Middle Earth is a Minecraft community that recreates the world described by JRR Tolkien and his writings. Everyone can participate in organized events in which we collaborate to create major landmarks, terrain, caves, castles, towns, farms and more.

This new mode would take the word “adventure” to a whole new level within MCME! It would be activated by a command that you would type in chat, which would activate PvP for you and any other players in Adventure Mode. You would be able to choose a kit and switch between kits whenever you die. For example, you could choose the Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, or Frodo kit and each kit would give you different types of weapons and armor. Additionally, special chests would be scattered around the map and you could find more powerful weapons, armor, and magical items inside of them. Exploring and discovering new areas of the map would give you coins, as well as eliminating other players and selling items. Players could sell and buy items with their coins, as well as trade their items with each other. Furthermore, players would be able to join a faction which would essentially put them on a team with the other players in that faction. The factions would be geographical places around the map. For example, you would be eligible to join the Gondor Faction, Rohan Faction, Shire Faction, etc. Another, possibly better, option would be to have the factions as the different species in Middle Earth. For example, the Human Faction, Elf Faction, and Dwarf Faction. These factions would have their “home base” in one of the major locations that their species inhabits in Middle earth, and they could store valuable items at their base as well as upgrade items with workbenches/anvils in their base. Players would be able to switch to exploration mode at any time, except for when they’re in combat. Coins would also allow you to purchase items from a shop at your home base or get temporary upgrades for your whole team.

Could be a cool idea, but I find this more something for when the map is finished, and the server is really more an exploration server than a build server.
