Happy Christmas everybody and welcome to this years winter events. This year we have a fun filled week of events for you starting from Sunday 18th December to Friday 23rd December.

Events​

• 18th December (7pm GMT) - Opening Ceremony. At the opening ceremony the times for each event will be announced for each events and the missing events will be announced. After, there will be a snowball fight so you can throw snowballs in your favourite/least favourite member's faces. The time for this event will be announced later today.

• 19th December (5pm GMT) - Races. I, SmaugJuice, and other guides/staff have been making races throughout this past week for all of us to do. It will be using the minigames plugin to take us through the beauty of Middle-earth and showing off all of the places we have built in the year of 2016.

• 20th December (4:30pm GMT) - PvP. We will be fighting around Middle-earth on our PvP server (IP: event.mcmiddleearth.com:27565). Please remember that the server is still in 1.10.2.

• 21st December (7pm GMT) - Parkour. We will be jumping across all of the buildings we have made as well as showing you some of the less well known, but excellent, parkour places.

• 22nd December (7pm GMT) - Boat Race. This race is no ordinary race as it has a special winter twist.Be sure to join us there to find out what it is.

• 23rd December (12pm & 5pm GMT) - Audiobook and PvP. See post below.

The events for the 22nd and 23rd still need to be announced but that will happen later in the week. The time for the events will now be posted on the day they happen, so please check the main post on that day to see what time they will be. Today, the races are at 5pm GMT.

Sorry about there not being PvP yesterday as the server was being updated to 1.11, so we did some minigames instead. Today we will be doing parkour which starts at 7pm GMT.

Today we will be having a Boat Race, but this is no ordinary boat race as it has a special winter twist. The race will start at 7pm GMT.

Congratulations to @thomasd_17 who won the boat race and to @Jesia who came second.

Today, there will be 2 events! The first of which will be 'A Christmas Carol' audiobook where we will listen to the famous Christmas tale by Charles Dickens. This starts at 12pm GMT (as it is about 3 hours long) and it will be on TeamSpeak, for I am unable to stream it on Discord. There will be a short break between each chapter.

The second event will be PvP on the PvP server as we didn't have it earlier in the week. It will start at 5pm GMT and run throughout the evening depending on which guides are available.
