Clue 1: East the horse rides, out to battle and perhaps to demise (i)
Answer: Horse Statue at Gate
This clue points towards the east-facing statue at the gate of Minas Tirith which can be seen in the movies.
Clue 2: Steam and water blend in dance, on the lowest of levels you may find your chance (m)
Answer: First Level Bathhouse
While there are two bathhouses in Minas Tirith, the "lowest of levels" part should narrow that down to the bathhouse on the first level next to the reservoir.
Clue 3: Glimpsing doom from the mysterious stone, in the steward, despair has grown (h)
Answer: Tower of Ecthelion
At the top of the Tower of Ecthelion, one can find the Palantir by saying the word "anor" which means "sun" in Sindarin, referencing the original name of Minas Tirith, Minas Anor.
Clue 4: In a field of crossroads, the smell of fresh fruit lines the roads (s)
Answer: Parth Goven, Pelennor Fields
Parth Goven means "field of crossroads" in Sindarin, so this references the Pelennor village right in front of Minas Tirith.
Clue 5: In the foothills of the mountains, the fox makes its den (c)
Answer: Fox Den, Second Level North Side
An old builder named foxyyy1 built an inn called the Fox Den along the side of the mountains on the second level.

Answer: Ballista on a wall
This can be translated to "A lucky shot can kill an orc" in Caesar Cipher, referencing the trebuchets and ballistas lining the walls of Minas Tirith.

Answer: Tombs of the Kings
Before Earnur II, the last king of Gondor rode to battle in Minas Morgul, he left the Crown of Gondor on his father's tomb.
Clue 8: Aging stone in a sea of white (l)
Answer: The Old Guesthouse
The Old Guesthouse is the only grey building, contrasting it heavily with the rest of the buildings in Minas Tirith which are all white.
Clue 9: The rats watch as water falls below (m)
Answer: Cave inside Sewers
Reference to the waterfall cave in the MT sewers which has a little rat colony.

This is an excerpt from the Scroll of Isildur which was the scroll that Gandalf read in the Hall of Records while trying to discover more about the One Ring.

Answer: Mount Mindolluin Peak
Mindolluin, the mountain that Minas Tirith sits on, means "blue-towering head" in Sindarin, so this was a reference to the blue mountain towering over the white city of Minas Tirith.

The quarries of Min-Rimmon in the White Mountains is where the white stone of Minas Tirith comes from. Marble Hill is a non-canon invention in our server that is not very lore-accurate.
