Hi,
Considering the 8th hall is stacked directly above the 9th hall and has an elevator between them it seems odd there wouldn't have also been a staircase. currently if dwarves were transporting goods or people down using the elevator that is great, but as soon as the elevator breaks there is no way for them to at least walk down, instead they would need to go all the way across the 7th hall, most of the way down the 5th hall then cut back across the 2nd hall. Seems like an unrealistic route to me.
I feel as though these would have a staircase between the 2 considering it is clear they transport goods between these.
