Please help by constructing a tall pine tree
to be used in the future Ithilien forest stencils.

You should be using oak wood, and birch leaves.
Stay within your plot boundaries, just like in
the car, keep all limbs inside the vehicle at all times
or ya lose em. Purty simple.

There are three different height levels so please
abide by the signs at the start of each row to make it easy.
These heights are 30, 25, 20. So that cool.

You should build a frame out of the trunk and limbs
using faceless logs (/get logs) before
adding all of your purty leaves to it.

I will be using a wool color coding system

blue means ready
green means good
orange means okay
red means bad

Please abide by these and mark your tree
with blue wool when you want me to check it
Otherwise, look at the examples and have at it!

Cheers.

Some questions:
  • Can we use the faced log blocks for places in the trunk where branches have broken off?
  • Can the heights be varied plus or minus one block - so that the three height categories are ranges like 29-31, 24-26 and 19-21?

  • Yes
  • Yes (hence they are ~30, the squiggly means "ish")

I'd like to contest the location of Haudh in Gwanur. It's by the river Poros, where the bridge is.

And you would be correct. I misplaced it, thought I included that correction in the post but I must have forgot. It will be placed correctly upon actually mapping it out/building it.

I think we also need to think of a concept for the Culumalda Tree . The tree was distinct in the North Ithilien Region. I think the concept may have to be worked around within the Staff Project Participants (explained >). Back when Bevs was planning his rendition of Ithilien I was working on a Culumalda tree concept. Basically the tree was like Red Maple with hanging golden cocoa beans off the leaves which can only be voxeled in.

You should be using oak wood, as well as
Both oak and jungle leaves throughout the tree.
Stay within your plot boundaries.
Trees should be between 14 and 20 blocks tall.

using faceless logs (/get logs) before
adding all of your purty leaves to it.
Check out the example guide behind spawn
before you start building your tree.

Made some open concept plots for people who are interested

Feel free to build whatever, though know I am less interested in terrain and more interested in abandoned house concepts

./warp ithilienconcept

Warp added for Ithilien (/warp IthilienTemp)

Concept build still open to commoner+ (/warp IthilienConcept)
Things I am interested in seeing:

  • Tree concept (see post of possible trees)
  • Ranger camp concept

Added the plan for South Ithilien

Rivers are 50%

Jobs for the common folk to come soon once the terrain is done

Likely there will be the following (in about this order)
  1. Root fixing
  2. Adding Bushes and Vines
  3. Adding Plants
  4. Ruins and Gardens
  5. Roads
  6. Bridges
  7. Ranger Camps

I can still build concepts? I made Ithilien Beach & Ithilien Royal Gardens in BfME II. Would you like to see me make it in Minecraft?
