Hey Dutch people!
I'm planning on taking my first vacation of these past 4 years and I have chosen Amsterdam as the lucky place.
I will be doing this trip alone and will stay for 5-7 days.
Is there anything you guys recommend?
I'd like to know some fun activities and some nice restaurants/bars. Food and beer is my main interest while visiting.


Also, if anyone wants to meet me I'm pretty sure I can do that too. Just hook me up with a PM or something

I must assume a Dutch (q220) was involved with this so this is technically a question for a dutchie:

How are the titles under your name (Hardcore MCME-er, One Of Us, etc.) selected?

Oh and make sure to get a good look at the Amsterdam airport Wod. I found it to be one of my favorites. And be sure to take a few water taxis or maybe even airBnB a houseboat as a place to stay.
 
Q220 is Belgian, I wouldn’t be surprised now once he reads this he bans you from the forums for implying he is from the lowlands of the Earth :p

Sorry wod, I can't help ya, I don't really know jack about Amsterdam, I live further to the south east :/
 
I advise 'S Hertogenbosch, or Den Bosch for short, it is a nice city and has one of the best pastry thing in the Netherlands, the Bosche Bol, which is whipped cream, inside of puff pastry within a chocolate shell. Also it is a city with a lot of history and stuff.
