Opening statement
It was another week which we'll remember for it's technical changes. First and foremost is of course the new appearance of our website which now has some really fancy screenshots rather than a boring white background, and all that, as far as I know also most screenshots, were made by our technical host and leader @q220!
Secondly we are already about to tackle some first actions to make us able to update to Minecraft 1.11!
Furthermore we have again much going on in our plugin development section, but to find out more about that and what is up with this clickbait-y title, you'll have to read on...

Project Progress
Andrast (In Progress) - Lead: @jacenpeter
Texture DevelopmentJacen's working area was once more the hillsides towards the upper Lefnui, he mainly worked on adding fault lines, a typical feature caused by tectonic processes.
Additionally Wroxxite continued with materials near the southern tip of Andrast.
Belfalas (In Progress) - Lead: @Thijs1801Additionally Wroxxite continued with materials near the southern tip of Andrast.
Methrast is done! Huge congratulations to @Kjolsen who has brought this perl of a town to completion! And I am sure he will still find all the funny jars of jam who somehow found their way onto some inaccessible ledges
Also check out some really fancy details like the grape plantations which were really closely modelled after their IRL counterparts or the newly-on-the-rise "three-field-system" where one of three crop fields is left barren so that it can regain nutrients.
But much rather than annoying you with a lot of words, check out Kjolsen awesome screenshots above!
Dol Amroth (In Progress) - Lead: @Eaglz24Also check out some really fancy details like the grape plantations which were really closely modelled after their IRL counterparts or the newly-on-the-rise "three-field-system" where one of three crop fields is left barren so that it can regain nutrients.

No real progress this week. Eriol was busy and thus no terrain progress, and the others are still trapped in the current uncertainties regarding new textures. I will sort this out asap so that Dol Amroth can continue.
Lamedon (In Progress) - Lead: @_Luk
No progress this week.
Mordor Terrain (In Progress) - Lead: @Tyranystrasz
No news have reached my ear.
Moria (In Progress) - Lead: @Despot666 & @Finrod_Amandil
Despot is currently putting some pressure on another new small plugin which among other things may make it possible to mark the name and purpose of the many Moria halls as it's simply impossible to remember all that
Thus I can also only give you some inaccurate update on what happened in Moria's many halls this week. A group of Artists, namely @Daddlio, @Patrick_0901 and @Ganderp have worked on a set of connector halls with some tall stair case attached to it, and also many Designers have done their share of progress in the halls on the eastern city part of Moria.
The Chamber of Light is currently less being focussed on, but the contest for it's centerpiece is still ongoing, and another Build Day is scheduled for December the 4th.

No progress this week.
Valley of Erui (In Progress) - Lead: @Mandos
The work on this valley is about to wind up. This week Mandos added the stream coming down from Minas Tirith, and also created a small forest.
I have been investing a lot of time into the URPS - Unified Resource Pack Structure project this week. Soon I can present a first concept for how that may look.
Additionally @Beathaven has created a couple new textures for Dol Amroth, including some more realistic windows and a nice floor paving.
Animation Plugin (In Progress) - Dev: @Ivan1pl
Plotbuild, Architect & Minigames (Implemented) - Devs: @Eriol_Eandur & @Ivan1pl
Rank UpdatesPlotbuild, Architect & Minigames (Implemented) - Devs: @Eriol_Eandur & @Ivan1pl
Eriol has been busy IRL this week, so not too many changes that I'd have heard of. He may already have started updating the plugins to 1.11.
Block analyse / replace / switch Plugin (New) - Dev: @Dallen
As the URPS will come with a lot of changes to the packs, a lot of replacing and swapping out blocks will be necessary. Thus I suggested a plugin with which it's possible to replace blocks on the entire map, or big regions, with a single command.
It is very sad news I have this week regarding who is accompanying us in the near future on our venture. Both @Mr_Smithz and <censored> are finding themselves once more confronted with the demon that is IRL obligations. Thus they will take a time out of following the demanding Designer tasks, but I strongly believe that we will see them again in green!
Thanks a lot to you two for the changes you've brought to MCME during your latest comeback! Let it not have been the last ones!
Media of the week
@ooitsbirdo has discovered the fine art of shader screenshots this week, and has really shown off that he got quite a good eye for good shots! Here's my favourite, but be sure to check out the other ones too here: ooitsbirdo Screenies

Themed Build
Themed Builds are weekly build events that serve to show off your building skills and/or help you to gain the skills required to get promoted to the Artist rank! All instructions on how to participate can be found in the thread linked below.
This specific instance is a so-called project build which features a bigger project, and accordingly lasts for more than one week (you can anyway edit your builds even when the following one started already).
Theme: Barad Eithel
Duration: 3 weeks - 1 week left!
Resource Pack: Gondor
Link: #38/16 - [Project Build] Barad Eithel
In a few week's time Beathaven will host another Build Day in Moria's Chamber of Light. The date is Sunday, December 4th. Save the date!
Closing statement
“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”
