do you put the IP address in the add a Minecraft Service. But it is not working. For some reason do I need a port number
 
All you need to do is click "add server"
Then in the Server name, put MCME
Then in the Server address box, put
build.mcmiddleearth.com

It should be alright after that. No port needed :)
