How to connect to the server

You can join our minecraft server by joining either of the following IP adresses mentioned in the IP lists resource. You could add them to your server favorites for quick and easy access!

Resourcepacks

The server automatically asks you to download a server resource pack, which will work just fine and is always the most up-to-date version. However if you turned the setting 'server textures' off, you will have to manually install and keep these resources up-to-date, else the world would look really weird.
You can find the resources under the Official Resources category.

Jobs and Projects

We cut down all the work in small pieces. For example, a large city can be called a Project, and will be the main focus for the community. Jobs help finishing projects and are usually smaller tasks such as building roads, small houses, towers, town buildings and so on. Jobs and Projects are the responsability of the Head Designer. He gives the go-ahead for a large project, and can appoint a Designer take charge of a project.

Teamspeak and communication

A lot of communication takes place when building a world like this, so registering an account on the forums is very useful so you can engage yourself in discussions and apply for different ranks.

Another extremely important tool is Teamspeak. It is a program that enables us to talk to each other over the internet. Teamspeak is used all the time for coordinating jobs, and in most cases it is also a requirement to participate in the job.

What there is to do in Minecraft Middle Earth

You can either participate in the construction of the world through jobs. You can also show off your creativity by doing Themed builds, they are a source of inspiration for a lot of people. If you are more of the exploring type, you can ask to go on a tour or wander off in the lands. If you feel like building something of a larger scale, or something not Middle-Earth related by yourself or with your friends, you can join the freebuild server.

By proving yourself, you can attain one of the ranks that specialize in certain aspects of the server.
