This resource pack colorizes the footprints of the Fellowship of the Ring in bright yellow and red to make it easy to follow.
Works with manual rp only. So if you want to use it you'll have to edit the MCME server in your multiplayer server list and disable server textures. Next download this Footprints resource pack and the >>official MCME resource packs<<. Place all in your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder (you don't need to extract the zip files).
In the game menue go to Options > ResourcePacks and choose the right resource pack for the region you are in. Also choose the Footprint resource pack and move it in top position.
The downside of this is that you have to switch resource packs manually when you move from one region to another.
UPDATE:
When using server resource packs you can enable highlighted footprints now by command
/rp variant footprints
To get back to the regular server resource packs do:
/rp variant light
