Armor Stand Editor Manual


Convenient editing of armor stands.

The armor stand editor features a number of commands to select properties of an armor stand you want to change. The changes are applied to an armor stand by left-clicking and right-clicking (opposite direction) at it with a stick in hand.

Commands:
  • /armor
    Shows the current mode of armor stand editor command.

  • /armor help
    Shows help about Armor Stand Editor commands.

  • /armor h
    Select main-hand item mode. Clicking at armor stand places item in main-hand of the armor stand.
  • /armor o
    Select off-hand item mode. Clicking at armor stand places item in off-hand of the armor stand.
  • /armor he
    Select helmet item mode. Clicking at armor stand places helmet of the armor stand.

  • /armor parts
    Shows information about selectable parts of armor stands:
    • h - head
    • la - left arm
    • ra - right arm
    • ll - left leg
    • rl - right leg
    • b - body
  • /armor mx
    Select x-movement mode. Clicking at armor stand moves along the x-axis.

  • /armor my
    Select y-movement mode. Clicking at armor stand moves along the y-axis.

  • /armor mz
    Select z-movement mode. Clicking at armor stand moves along the z-axis.

  • /armor mo
    Select move left/right. Clicking at armor stand moves to left/right from your line of sight.

  • /armor t
    Select turn mode. Clicking at armor stand turns the whole armor stand.

  • /armor x [part]
    Select x-rotation mode. Clicking at armor stand rotates the selected [part] around the relative x-axis (relative to orientation of the armor stand). Without a specified part the previously selected part is used. Use /armor parts to see short cuts for selectable parts.

  • /armor y [part]
    Select y-rotation mode. Clicking at armor stand rotates the selected [part] around the relative y-axis (relative to orientation of the armor stand). Without a specified part the previously selected part is used. Use /armor parts to see short cuts for selectable parts.

  • /armor z [part]
    Select z-rotation mode. Clicking at armor stand rotates the selected [part] around the relative z-axis (relative to orientation of the armor stand). Without a specified part the previously selected part is used. Use /armor parts to see short cuts for selectable parts.

  • /armor r [part]
    Select view rotation mode. Clicking at armor stand rotates the selected [part] around your line of sight. Without a specified part the previously selected part is used. Use /armor parts to see short cuts for selectable parts.

  • /armor size
    Switch size mode. Clicking at armor stand switches between normal and small size.

  • /armor v
    Switch visibility mode. Clicking at armor stand switches visibility on and off. With an invisible second armor stand you can place an item at the left hand of an armor stand.

  • /armor g
    Switch gravity mode. Clicking at armor stand switches gravity for armor stand.

  • /armor ma
    Switch marker mode. Clicking at amor stand switches between tiny and large collision box. With tiny collision box it’s almost impossible to destroy an armor stand even with permission to do.

  • /armor a
    Switch arms mode. Clicking at armor stand switches the visibility of the arms.

  • /armor b
    Switch base plate mode. Clicking at armor stand switches the visibility of the base plate.

  • /armor p
    Select paste mode. Right clicking at a block places a previously copied armor stand at that block. Left clicking (at a block) places a previously copied armor stand at your position with your orientation.

  • /armor c
    Select copy mode. Clicking at armor stand copies this armor stand. It can be pasted with /armor p.

  • /armor l
    Locks/Unlocks an armor stand. Locked armor stands cannot be changed or removed.

  • /armor +
    Increases the step width of move and rotation modes. Step is in degree for rotation and in percent of a block for movement.

  • /armor -
    Decreases the step width of move and rotation modes. Step is in degree for rotation and in percent of a block for movement.

  • /armor default
    Resets the step width of move and rotation modes to default values (10% of a block and 10°).

  • /armor #step
    Sets the step width of move and rotation modes. Step is in degree for rotation and in percent of a block for movement.

  • /armor paste
    Places a previously copied armor stand relative to your position the same way as WorldEdit's //copy and //paste works.

  • /armor clear
    Clears copied armor stand. After using this command paste mode will place standard armor stands without items.

  • /armor save <filename> <description>
    Saves a previously copied armor stand to file. <filename> may include a subdirectory (e.g. moria/skeleton01).

  • /armor files [subdirectory] [#page]
    Shows a list of saved files in the specified [subdirectory] or the main armor stand save directory. Clicking at a subdirectory show the files there. Clicking at a file loads this armor stand.

  • /armor delete <filename>
    Deletes the specified armor stand save file or subdirectory (empty directory only).
