Bug | Issue Remove player locator bar

The updated server now has the locator bar that shows you where other players are like a compass above your hotbar. I think it's a nice feature for small survival servers but don't think it works well for MCME. I tried to look for a setting to turn it off but apparently this can only be done for everybody through the gamerule command. Would it be possible to switch it off for MCME? Thank you

possibly it could be coded so that players can turn of locator bar with a command e.g. /togglelocatorbar or /locatorbar on/off

There seems to be a gamerule that disables the locator bar. So should be simple to disable for everyone.
Commands to toggle for individual players are probably much harder as there is no implementation in the Paper API, so this would require some hacking on packet layer.
