I joined the server in the middle of February 2015. However I was completely inactive till Decemeber the 18th 2015. I joined after reading Lord of the Rings and really wanted to find a Lord of the Rings server that was open and worked.

Jobs I have Participated in:

-Making streams (Digging, decorating the bed and the sides.) mainly in Lamedon, some in Belfalas.

-Making roads (Digging, decorating) in areas like Fennas and others.

-Building farms (Making the ground, planting, growing, making farm walls) in Fennas, Celos...

-Building glacier with Fin

-Building a tree with Jacen

-Digging big rivers in the Misties

-Decorating islands in the Gladden Fields.

The Styles Of Builds I like Best = I do not have a favourite, however I find the decoration of streams very aesthetically pleasing as well as the Gladden Fields. Besides Lord of the Rings related builds I have never built anything else before.

Reason for Applying =
I have always wanted to become an artist scince joining and be able to help build more of Middle Earth (other than in jobs), I may not be very interested in Lore (or know any of it), but I do adore Lord of the Rings and have found another way to enjoy it!

Projects which I would like to be part of = I really don't mind, maybe countryside areas like Cellos, Befalas, Lamedom e.t.c

Theme Builds:

- Tol in Guarhoth =

- The Prancing Pony =

- (Will have link to picture when I do some)

I did a job for Darki and built a house to go around the edges of the gladden fields.

Thank you for your application! But it is quite incomplete :D. Yesterday I reviewed the jobs you did for me and I found 6 lamedon small streams jobs. Today was the 7th. So no one will doubt you activity and dedication to building.

Now show us your skills by posting some screenshot to show your building skills especially themed builds. I will add feedback here when you get them up.

When you finish a >>jobs or plotbuilds<< for a Designer, remember to ask the Designer to give points to your application as described >>here<<.

Yeh sorry about the incompletion I have pictures for all jobs on Imgur in an alb and 4 TB but I needed to go, can I edit my post?

Sure, you can edit your post. When you do, also make a reply to this thread, just something like "updated". Otherwise we will probably not notice your update ;)

Will you be able to see the album or will I need to post the pictures publicly on Imgur? Or can I post them on this thread?

You have to upload a picture before you can post them here, most members use imgur, but you can make an album at MCME website too, but make sure to make your pictures visible for us. I will not be able to see pictures from a private album.

Hey DrayzST,
I noticed that you did not get feeback on your last update and it has been quite a long time ago now, sorry for that.
To be honest the quality of your builds is quite poor, most of them look unfinished with large, flat, empty grass areas. Details are very important. You should use all the space of a themed-build plot and make a lot of details to make your build look realistic. The point is not to create completely new styles for your themed builds. Use the builds at the main map for example.

I haven't updated your application for a long while, so you probably lost interest in Artist which is quite sad, as you were a very good teamworker during many jobs you took part in.
If you are still interested in getting Artist, you will need to finish some themed builds. I think you can do that. I wil happily help you with feedback as you helped with so many jobs.

Just to let anyone who wishes/cares to know, I am still very much interested in getting artist, but I have been innactive for a reasonably long time and will still be for a while. However once I do return I will continue to try and get artist. However I may still do jobs now and then until the date when I properly return.

My return date probably = June 15th 2016.

Thank you.

Just to say I am going for artist again, I've done quite a few jobs since my return and will continue to as well as using Will_em and the builder school to get better at theme builds and proper builds.

Okay I've got some tips for you:
  • Cover the thatch (the yellow stuff on the roof) on the inside of the houses with wood so you can't see it from there. It would not prevent rain coming through the roof, compare Rohan houses.
  • Some houses have grass floors inside.
  • Be careful with stone / wood combinations; while in the houses it works well to have stone as core and wood as outer support structure, it's a bit odd to have these logs in the big wall.
  • Try to match the buildings a bit more to the theme, just because the pack is Rohan it does not mean that the task is just to build some rohirric houses. Here probably a much better solution may have been an evil-looking mostly stony fortress.
Looking forward to more submissions of yours!

Updated - Better picture(s) for Tol in Guarhoth, Prancing Pony images, and Job pictures of a house for Gladden Fields.

Okay here some thoughts on your Prancing Pony, getting quite into the detail already now :)
  • My main concern with it is the sides of the house, the upper part with the white blocks and logs in between lacks depth and detail, and the windows make it look very weird as they are placed in so random places in the wall.
  • Many corridors and rooms are very box-shaped. Especially the ceilings could need some detail / breaking up of that shape. Try adding some stairs in the corners and edges of the ceiling.
  • In the center you could replace some more of the grass with traces of where people walked, or even make a proper path (I guess for a well-visited guesthouse it should not be that much of a hassle to make a proper path)

Ty for all the feedback and stuff, I've also been going through it with Will _em who also noted on the flat roofs and planning out rooms and space before having the build e.t.c

At the moment I won't be back for another 2 weeks so can't do anything till then, but will use all the feedback for my next theme build :)

Would it be possible if from when I come back that somehow I could do the theme builds I missed (Audh-en-Arwen and the cause a-way forts?) As I will have plenty of free time to do so. I would find the Cause A way forts especially useful for practicing walls e.t.c

Would this be possible in plot world, in my next theme build/previous ones?
