So, the audio book has slow died off so I thought why not bring it back but with a twist, instead of just having some random bloke on a CD or digital down load why not read the book my self and get another Guide (yomama629)
to show people the fellowships path as they listen, of course giving them the listeners an opportunity to ask questions about the location and the lore.

I know some people may not want a user to read the books and would rather the audio book just stayed dead but, as we currently don't have many new people joining and staying I think this could really help, when I first joined the audio book was something that both encouraged me to stay with the server and to go for guide.

So I have put a poll at the top to gauge what you think, but please leave a response/comment/thing underneath to explain what you think.

Good day to you all. :D

So although fewer votes than I would of liked we are going to go ahead with a trial one, however idk if we should do the prologue and chapter 1 or skip the prologue and do chapter 1 and 2, there will be another poll to decide. Either way it will be 7 pm GMT on Saturday the 14th of January. I hope it goes well and is enjoyed. :D

Neh I don't think anyone wants to hear the 30 pages long prologue, it prob isn't even worth a poll

I love the pologue :P

So many interesting details about Hobbits, their buildings, their agriculture and ordering. Each Artist on MCME should know it by heart D:

What?
We are not rebuilding The Shire now? Well you have some time to reread it then :P

Another decision I'm leaving to you I should probably make myself is, should I give the characters distinctly different voices or if I should just read them all with the same voice. Since idk how to add another poll I suggest you leave a response with your preference. But remember they don't call me the man of thousand voices for a reason :(. If you want some examples ask me when I'm on Discord, any way remember when ever there's a child in need, a cat in a tree I will probably not be there, be safe CITIZENS, TI AWAY!!!11!!1

You can also ask some of the people joining whether they'd like to read a character, given they have an English LotR version at hand (I could supply download links for PDF's of the books, but afaik it's illegal to download copyrighted material in most countries beside Switzerland :P)

that is a good idea, any takers?

so the characters we need are as follows:
  • Bilbo
  • The Gaffer
  • Old Noaks
  • Sandyman
  • Sam
  • Otho
  • Lobelia
  • Merry
  • Ted
Want to know why Frodo and Gandalf aren't there, well it's because they're me!!1!!111!

I would read Merry. And, more importantly, Odo Proudfoot (definitely the protagonist of the trilogy). I'm 80% sure I'll be able to be there.
