    Langstrand is a coastal region in Gondor. It is located west of Andrast, south of Lamedon between the rivers Lefnui and Morthond. Another -more used- name for Langstrand is Anfalas. Anfalas means: "long beach". The people in Langstrand are not as civilized as the people of Minas Tirith. The Gondorians say that Elves lived in Langstrand before them. That is the reason of the Elvish ruins in the server. Langstaed (/warp langstaed)is the biggest town in Anfalas on the server. Other towns are Aelhroth (/warp aelhroth), Sunderborough (/warp sunderborough) and you might count Iant Dirnen (/warp iant dirnen or /warp iant) and Green Cliffs (/warp green cliffs) as towns of Anfalas. During the War of the Ring, lord Golasgil led a improvised army of fishermen, hunters and villagers to the Battle of the Pelennor Fields to protect the capital, while Langstrand itself was attacked by the Corsairs of Umbar!

    • Lond Daer
    full

    Lond Daer Enedh (shortly Lond Daer) was a great harbour city and was the first permanent settlement of the Númenóreans in Middle-earth. The Númenóreans are the ancestors of the Gondorians and of the Arnorians. The people in Lond Daer had built many ships. For the ships they needed a lot of wood, so they deforested large parts of Middle-earth. The native people of the deforested countries (eg. the Dunlendings) fought back against the Númenóreans and they destroyed the haven several times and they burnt down Lond Daer's timber storages. Later, the Númenóreans did not need Lond Daer as much as in the past, because they had built newer, more southern harbour cities as Pelargir. After the destruction of Númenór, Lond Daer Enedh had no use anymore so it fell into ruins. Lond Daer Enedh is being led by @Mandos , but it is currently on hold.

    • Lothlorien
    full

    "O Lórien! The Winter comes, the bare and leafless Day;
    The leaves are falling in the stream, the River flows away.
    O Lórien! Too long I have dwelt upon this Hither Shore
    And in a fading crown have twined the golden elanor."

    This are the words of Galadriel in the Fellowship of the Ring. Lothlórien is the most beautiful place in Middle-earth. It is a forest with a special kind of trees: Mallorn-trees. They are green on top and silver from beneeth and in the autumn they turn gold. They have golden flowers. They only grow outside the continent Middle-earth, in Númenór and in Valinór, except for Lórien; it was the only place in Middle-earth where Mallorn-trees grew, until lady Galadriel gave a box of soil with a nut to Samwise. After the War of the Ring and the Sourcing of the Shire, Sam planted the nut on the place where before the partytree had grown. Each summer the Shire turned gold when the Mallorn-tree flowerd. The Mallorn-trees in Lórien do not die because of the power of Galadriel's ring. Caras Galadhon is the main city in Lothlórien. In this server there is just one other elven settlement in Lórien: Cerin Amroth. Lothlórien is an Elvish kingdom and Celeborn and Galadriel are Lord and Lady of the Galadhrim. In Valinor, the Undying Lands, are the Gardens of Lórien, which is a totally different place in a total different continent.
