    full

The Redhorn Gate is the gate of the Misty Mountains, a name for the pass that led from the wilds of Eriador through the Misty Mountains into Rhovanion beyond. Also called the Redhorn Pass a dangerous pass (sheer and steep). It climbed across the southern slopes of Caradhras and led down into the Dimrill Dale and hence the Vale of Anduin beyond the Mountains. After the fall of Khazad-dum this pass was used by Elves traveling between Lorien and Eriador.

Rendul is a walled town in the west of Lamedon. 60% of its inhabitants were Gondorian, the other 40% were Daen (none-Numenorian men). • Rivendell
    full

Rivendell is an Elven dwelling in the Misty Mountains on the eastern edge of Eriador. Also called "The Last Homely House East of the Sea" or "the valley of Imladris". Located at the edge of a narrow gorge of the Bruinen River and hidden in the moorlands and foothills of the Misty Mountains. When Elrond was unable to reach Eregion when he was Sauron armies, he forced towards the headwaters of Bruinen and he established a stronghold known as Rivendell. This became a refuge for those seeking shelter from Sauron's onslaught in Eriador. Imladris is the Sindarin word for "deep dale of the cleft".

The first Last Homely House was built by HomieNo and Aracnel on terrain started by Carlosbear in 2010. This Rivendell was one of the only places to be completely terrained by players and by hand. SMtg and BevsForBros were tasked with revamping Rivendell, however SMtg resigned shortly after rendering it a solo project. Although copied over by BevsForBros, Rivendell was more recently updated by artists MuddyDirt, K1sk1bbab35, and KlemensPlusLukus. The project was overseen by ISMiTHz, MaDIIReD, SugarKoala, and Credoo.

    • Rohan
    full

Rohan, the Riddermark, is a territory of the Rohirrim, a people of horsemen and farmers on the northern borders of Gondor. It reaches from Fangorn Forest to the White Mountains, between the Isen and the Entwash. Its capital is Edoras. Rohan is most known for its horses and cavalry. The main languages that were used in Rohan were Rohirric and Westron (the common language). One of the significant features of Rohan's geography is the river Entwash. It divides Rohan in Eastemnet and Westemnet. The countryside of Rohan was described as a land of pastures and lush tall grassland. The lands of Rohan are frequently described as appearing like "seas of grass". Most of the Rohirrim dwelt in small villages or farms.

The construction of Rohan in MCME began during the time of the last Bree housing period and, as a result, many people wanted to start claiming houses in this region.
